What is olive oil?
Extra virgin olive oil is an ingredient rich in oleic acid (naturally present in the skin), also known as omega 9, and vitamin E. In cosmetics, it is used for its antioxidant properties and its great softening capacity, due to its high penetration capacity into the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin).
